-No need to delay the current pro challenge, lets tackle Downfall in another month!
-The Steel Panther Solo looks like a really beneficial piece to practice. Personally, I do not find it “nooby”. Playing those melodies with feel isn’t easy and the picking is fast.

A long term goal of mine is the Downfall solo. I know its 2017 but the hatebreeder album never gets old.
@johannes-ambs Good one! This one is hard to place…I think it is somewhere between intermediate and pro but we probably can put it as a pro level challenge, right? 😀 I already have one in the pro segment for this month, but if you whish to learn it this month, I can put it in and make a video series about it and delay the other one 😉

@cob50nm I am torn between intermediate and noob cause it has some fast picking in it. A lot of it is quite easy but some of the parts are not really beginner friendly. Need to figure out by what I should determin the difficulty…I will put it into the intermediate cause it contains 16th at 188 BPM 😉
@admin No worries, I think the patterns are fairly easy but yeah the speed is the killer. As is the case with all his solos. It just amazing licks that are easy enough followed by 4 bars of crazy fast that makes it take weeks to learn at speed.
